Abstract


Banana Kepok is one of the banana cultivars of the ABB cultivar group. This banana belongs to the banana group because of its high starch content. Kepok banana farmers or selectors generally identify the level of maturity of kepok bananas from the size and color of the skin, because this is the easiest thing to do. Although it is easy to do, in fact, it has problems that sometimes make the process of selecting kepok bananas less than optimal. For this reason, this research is to identify the maturity level of kepok bananas based on color and texture using the K-Means Clustering method. The input process is in the form of an image and the output is in the form of characteristics or parameters related to the image so that it can be easier to determine the maturity level of kepok bananas based on the color and texture.
