RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU (PPDB) DI SMK YAYASAN PENDIDIKAN KELUARGA MEDAN (SMK YPK MEDAN) DENGAN METODE AGILE BERBASIS ANDROID

Abstract

The process of admitting new students (PSB) still uses a conventional system, so that prospective students sometimes have difficulty getting information to carry out the registration process. The registration process also tends to be slow, because the data has not been integrated and managed properly. This process also still uses archives in physical form which are prone to damage or even loss. In order to be able to overcome the problems that occur in the registration of new students at YPK Medan, the design and development of a Mobile Web-Based New Student Admissions Information System application was made. With this very limited time, of course, the process of registering new students that will be conveyed, not all of them can be completed in one meeting. The system that can be used is to produce a registration application that can be accessed via an Android device and can be managed via the web. However, an appropriate method is needed to maximize the registration system.
