Abstract
It is important for a company to have a place to store goods or warehouses, a well-managed inventory can simplify warehouse operations and reduce human error. It can be a solution for companies to manage their inventory because it can manage all warehouse operations, from receiving to shipping. There is no system at PT XYZ that allows the FIFO method to be automatically applied, resulting in errors in input and retrieval. As a solution to the existing problems at PT XYZ, the author developed a Warehouse Management System by utilizing the FIFO method. This study uses the waterfall method with five phases, namely analysis, code, design, testing, and maintenance, to overcome errors in picking up goods at PT XYZ's warehouse. Designed to minimize human errors when entering goods, this Warehouse Management System facilitates the management of goods based on customer requests. By automating the sorting process based on production date, admins won't have to manually input production dates, and goods management activities should be more efficient.
